OGUK/UKOOA policy is to require all persons designated as offshore employees to be examined on a regular basis and classified as medically fit to work offshore. The Industry has to ensure that workers do not put themselves or others at undue risk by failing to meet appropriate fitness criteria.
Oil & Gas UK Medical Guidelines include complete physical examination, comprehensive history, visual acuity and colour testing, urinalysis, audiogram and if necessary ECG, and spirometry. These services are available on site at Bowmont Travel Clinic.
The Oil & Gas UK Medical Certificate of Fitness
Dr. Connie Ellis is a OGUK/UKOOA registered doctor. A OGUK/UKOOA Certificate of Fitness is provided when all the required OGUK/UKOOA Guidelines are met.
Cost of the Oil & Gas UK Medical
- Examination – $650.00
- ECG – if necessary, $40.00
- Spirometry – $50.00
